Genealogy Forms - Family Group Sheet

Pedigree Charts and Family Group Sheets are used to track genealogical information.  A pedigree chart lists a person’s direct line.  Family Group Sheets show the parents and siblings of an individual.  Names on both forms are listed in full.  Females are always listed using their maiden name.  Dates are recorded by listing the day first, followed by the month and the year.  (Example: 2 April 1824)  Places are listed giving the smallest known area first (city), followed by the next largest (county) and the country.  (Example: Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts or Bath, Somerset, England).

Use this basic Family Group Sheet to list all members of a family.  You may need more than one sheet if there were more than four children.  Burial information, immigration notes, military service, etc. can be written on back.
